The Death of Me (Part 1)
“Please tell me you’re coming home early. I really miss you.” Marissa delicately tapped the ‘speakerphone’ button on her device followed by ‘mute’ as she got on her knees. Her hair was disheveled and her back was beginning to ache. She was only twenty-five but was feeling more like sixty-five as of late.
“Babe, I can’t. Just once more week in D.C. and I promise, I’ll be back. Wear that thing for me that you wore on our anniversary?” She could hear the mischievous tone of his voice and knew he missed her as much as she missed him, probably even more.
Marissa hit ‘unmute’, “You know I’ve got you baby.” Her body tensed at the thought of riding her hubby again. It had been two long weeks since she’d been able to feel his touch and she was yearning his presence.
“I’ve gotta go love. Talk to you soon.” Jay ended the call without hearing Marissa’s response. The loud lawnmower from next door interrupted her words as she finished-up in her rose garden.
Marissa looked up angrily at the culprit of the insanely loud sounds and frowned. A new neighbor had moved in to Elm Street and she didn’t like him in the least. Not that she’d ever formerly met him or seen his face before, but she didn’t have to. There was usually loud music coming from his house that carried late into the early morning hours; even on weekdays. Cars blocked their driveway during the weekend parties and calling the police was fruitless. His drunk friends often yelled and shouted during their spades and dominoes games without a care of whether or not anyone in the neighborhood would be able to sleep.
Sure, there was nothing wrong with mowing your lawn at two in the afternoon but that didn’t make her any less irritated. Him doing so while shirtless didn’t make her any less sexually frustrated either. Although she usually only glanced at him from time to time through her kitchen window, she couldn’t help but notice the chiseled physique he possessed even from behind.
“Hey! Hello! Can I talk to you for a sec!” Marissa tried to shout above the noise to no avail. She approached the gate and shouted again but the headphones and mover drowned out her voice.
Marissa tossed her garden gloves to the ground, tugged on her small biker shorts and wiped the dripping sweat from the top of her breasts, which nearly spilled from her white tank top. She marched over to her noisy neighbor’s yard, ready to give him a piece of her mind.
Jogging down her driveway, down the sidewalk and onto his lawn, Marissa decided she would give him a piece of her mind. Her mouth hung open and she stopped in her tracks. She immediately wished she would have just minded her business.
Her expression was angry but cute, her breasts were plump and on the verge of escaping the confines of the tiny white tank top. Her thighs were solid, just as he remembered. He hadn’t seen her in three years but he hardened as the memories came flooding in as if it were only yesterday.
“How you been?” Her shocked face amused him as he made his way towards her for a hug.
“Travis? You’re the noisy neighbor?” Marissa closed her mouth and crossed her arms, her caramel skin seemed to sizzle and glisten in the sun as a bead of sweat dripped from her neck.
“Yeah, it’s me. Loud though? I think you may be getting me confused with the lawn mower?” He was arrogant, cocky and sexy as hell. He was six foot five and slightly muscular. The bulge in his pants reminded her that his stature wasn’t the only thing over-sized.
“Very loud.” Marissa smiled and embraced her old friend. “I’m sorry I’m so sweaty.”
“I’m not.” he flirted. The sound of his voice immediately made her moist and the flirting wasn’t helping. After all these years, he still had the same impact on her.
“Any way, I just came by to introduce myself really.” She smiled, “But seriously, I didn’t want anything, specifically.” She looked up at his home to distract herself from the look in his eyes as he undressed her. His home was as large as hers, maybe bigger. The neighborhood was in the suburbs so it wasn’t uncommon to have generally quiet neighbors who drove expensive cars and had careers no one quite understood.
“Come in. Let’s cool off and catch up.” His beautiful smile enticed her. The scent of his cologne mixed with the smell of his sweat sent shivers down her spine. She wanted him and she felt guilty about it. She’d known since the moment she stepped on his property. She was a newly married woman who should not have these feelings for anyone but her other half. A blast from the past would not change that. That was the whole purpose of saying ’til death do us part’.
Travis laughed loudly and his hand grasped hers. “I’m just offering lemonade and air conditioning. It’s not that serious. Or does your husband not allow you to be nice to your neighbors or drink lemonade with them?” He bit his lip and lead her to his home without waiting for a response. But there was something about him she could not say ‘no’ to, so she followed.
His home wasn’t what she expected. Upon entering his glass double doors, she was greeted with a soothing scent of vanilla and a gleaming chandelier hung over the entryway. To the right was a plush white carpet she wouldn’t dare step on with her gardening shoes. The black leather sectional sat feet away from a large fireplace. A muted TV mounted the wall and fine art surrounded it. To the left, the kitchen made her envious as it was much less cluttered than hers. The marble island was spotless and beautifully crafted. The countertops were devoid of anything except an air fryer and a Keurig.
“You live alone?” Marissa stepped onto the tile floor in awe as he shut the door abruptly behind him, locking it with his thumbprint.
“For now, yes.” He placed his hand on her back and guided her towards the kitchen.
“Oh, I’m really dirty. I don’t really want to sit anywhere or touch anything. I was gardening.”
“Roses?” He grinned. He pointed to the sink as she walked over to wash her hands and returned to the island. Marissa looked into his brown eyes and perfectly plump lips as he leaned over the bar and watched her, seemingly intrigued. As he stepped back, her eyes traveled to his bare, chiseled chest and pronounced abs. She couldn’t help but look further down beyond his navel to his loosely fit shorts.
“Huh? What was that?” She blushed and looked away, finding an African statue nearby to distract her.
“A rose garden right?” Travis opened his refrigerator, grabbed some things out of it and two glasses from his cabinet. Marissa looked down at the stool and decided she could at least sit. It wasn’t as if she’d been sitting on the ground outdoors. The white, soft seats welcomed her as she became conscious about the wetness between her legs.
“Yeah. Yes. Wait. What’s this? This doesn’t look like lemonade.”
“Taste it.” he urged. Marissa remembered their first date. After months of him begging her she finally gave in. They went for drinks one night and she underestimated her tolerance to slushies. Before the date was over she was embarrassingly tipsy, but he was a gentleman about it. They got food and went for a walk waiting for the alcohol to wear off. Eventually, they ended up at his place having sex until the sun came up.
She sipped the drink and to her surprise, it tasted like lemonade. “What’s in it?”
“It’s just a martini to be honest. I just added a little something here and there. So married huh? Kids too?”
Marissa sipped her drink, “Yeah, married. No kids yet. Maybe one day. But right now we’re focused on our careers.”
“What do you do?” He sat on the barstool next to her. His knees slightly touching her. Her nipples hardened at the slight connection.
“I’m an artist. I paint.”
“Oh, really? I’m a collector. I have a small place uptown where I showcase and sell art.” He gestured to the wall behind them.
Marissa was impressed. They spent the next few hours discussing art, movies and the past. They’d come a long way from being coworkers at the UPS store and it was a wonder why they’d lost touch.
After four drinks, Marissa realized it was getting late. They’d gotten lost in conversation, remembering the past and recalling old friends. She’d left her phone on the porch and the sun was already set. Her hubby always called her at 8 p.m. and she didn’t want to miss his call. She’d stayed too long.
“I didn’t mean to stay so long. I need to go home, shower, cleanup and make dinner.”
“You should stay. I’ll order your favorite pizza.” Travis retorted.
“No. No, I can’t. I really gotta go. I’m expecting a call from my husband. But thank you for the drinks.”
“Okay. I’ll walk you home.” The disappointment in his voice was evident but she didn’t care, she couldn’t. She had an obligation to her husband to be there when he called.
Marissa was glad he offered to walk her home. Her footing wasn’t the best, thanks to his ‘lemonade’ and the street was dark. The porch light from his home helped to navigate a bit but not enough for her to make it home without bumping into something. They laughed and reminisced on the way to her home.
“Where’d my phone go? I know I put it right here.” Marissa searched for her phone on the ground and wondered where it could’ve went.
“Let me call it.” She gave her number to Travis but the call went to voicemail right away.
“Just my luck, it’s dead. Damn.”
“Turn on your outside light.” Travis suggested. She’d wondered why she hadn’t thought of that. Marissa reached for her door but it was locked.
“Oh no, what time is it?”
“It’s 8:02. Why? What happened? It’s locked?”
“Shit. Shit shit shit. I set the lock on a timer when he’s out of town so I won’t forget to lock up. I can override it from outside, but only from my phone.”
“But your phone is dead. Right. Lucky for you, I have an old android charger at home. Back to my place?” The smile on his face returned, showcasing that ‘nothing but trouble’ look. But what choice did she have?
Marissa considered breaking her own window to get inside of her home. She could always explain to the police that she had to break into her own home because she was dumb enough to lock herself out. She dismissed that idea, wanting to avoid a dramatic scene in such a quiet neighborhood.
“Okay. Sure.” Marissa nervously smiled as she walked away from home, unknowingly for the last time.
“Let’s sit. I’ll order some food.” Re-entering the home with Travis was just as nerve-wrecking as it had been the first time. Marissa kept her cool outwardly at least and decided she would go home as soon as her phone hit five percent.
“No thanks. I’m kinda dirty. I wouldn’t dare sit on your sofa like this. Where’s the charger?” Marissa purposely walked away from Travis, hoping to leave all lustful thoughts at the door. She looked around the living room, hoping to eyeball the charger.
Travis smirked, “I’ll go get it now. But if you feel that bad about being dirty, go wash up. I’ve got some shorts, a t-shirt I could loan you. There should be wash cloths in the bathroom upstairs. I’ll bring a towel for you too.”
“No, thank you.” Marissa dismissed the idea. She didn’t think it would be smart to be horny and naked in this man’s house.
“Come on. My old charger has a shortage so it’s gonna take a while. Can’t just stand there hungry, funky and uncomfortable. Stop acting like a stranger. We know each other. Very well.” Marissa quickly turned to look at him and wish she hadn’t. Her eyes undressed him as the thought of just how well they knew each other entered her mind, again. Her nipples hardened at the wild thoughts that took over and suddenly the shower didn’t seem like such a bad idea.
“You know what, I’ll take you up on that offer. Here,” she handed her phone to him, “Could you put this on the charger for me while I’m gone?” Her hand slightly touched his, but it was enough to know he would have her by the end of the night. He needed her. He missed everything about her. He’d have her, he was sure of it.
“Got you. It’s the second door on the right.” He watched her walk away and wondered what it would be like to taste her again.
Marissa was even more impressed with the bathroom. The floor was smooth stone and comforting beneath her feet. A long vanity mirror decorated the entire wall as his and hers sinks spotlessly complimented the gold trimming of the marble countertop. The scent of lavender soothed her as she stripped and approached the shower.
Her mind wondered back to her husband but quickly lead her back to Travis. She decided she’d please herself while in his shower, getting rid of the temptation to ride his face and scream his name. She wanted to think of Jay but knew thoughts of Travis would make this process a lot faster. She knew it was wrong, but for some reason she couldn’t fight the urge to touch herself while thinking of him.
After washing her body, her hands traveled down to her slits. She slid her finger inside, just enough to lubricate her fingertips. She began to massage her clit as she leaned with her back against the wall. Images of his chiseled chest, abs and hips rampaged her thoughts. The idea of her riding him on the black leather sofa caused her to close her eyes and prepare for release. Her racy thoughts were interrupted by two words, “I’m here.” Marissa opened her eyes to find Travis just a few feet away.
Her hands dropped and she turned around, hiding her breasts from him and facing the wall. “Get out! I’m in the shower!” She could hear him chuckle as he approached.
“I’ve seen you naked before. But you do look a little different. A little curvier, thicker. I like it.”
“Oh my god Travis! Get out I’m not playing!” Marissa was embarrassed and wondered how much he’d seen. She shielded her body as much as she could, one arm hiding her hard nipples and another covering the front of her private.
“You sure you want me to leave?” He was still shirtless, his shorts dangerously low and revealing his waist. He opened the shower door and dropped his shorts entirely. Marissa looked down as his manhood stood at attention. It was long, thick and hard, just as she remembered and pictured. A small amount of pre-cum glistened at the tip and her mouth watered at the thought of his taste.
He entered the shower and grabbed her waist. Leaning down, he cupped her chin and gently nibbled her lips. His mouth made its way to her neck as she stood there in the same position, unable to move or process a thought. She tried to do convince herself to walk away but knew she truly didn’t want that. She wanted him. All of him.
His lips brushed against her neck as her arms finally embraced him. He whispered in her ear, “Were you thinking about me while you were touching yourself?” His hands slowly replaced hers as he slid his fingers to her opening.
“Mmmm. I feel that. Don’t lie, you were thinking about me, right?” The sound of his voice, the feel of his thick fingers inside of her and the warm water became overwhelming.
“No. No, I wasn’t thinking about you. I was thinking about him.” He glared into her eyes while he fingered her. She knew exactly how to entice him and he loved it.
“What did you say to me?” Travis inserted another finger as he caressed her and reached for her breast.
“You heard me,” Marissa stared at his lips. “I was thinking about him, not you. Why would I be thinking about you?” She smiled. With quickness and ease, he turned her around and pushed her against the wall. He grabbed her arms and pinned them to her back.
“You should be thinking about me and only me. This is mine.” he gripped her ass and slid his finger down it’s center until he reached her wetness once more. “You’re mine.”
Her hair became soaked in the shower as cascades of water ran down her head and down her back. She wanted to feel him, be devoured by him and as the anticipation grew, so did his shaft. He slightly spread her legs and plummeted into her with so much force, her breath escaped her.
Travis was no stranger to her body, he knew every spot and every inch of her. He gripped her hips and bent his knees as he made every effort to feel every part of her. The sound of the their bodies colliding and the look of her ass as it moved with each touch was almost too much to bear.
He leaned his head back and closed his eyes, giving her every inch of him relentlessly. Her hands were immobile and she couldn’t grab a hold of anything. She felt as if she had nothing to distract her; putting all of the attention on the feeling of his thrusts.
She thought it would end, but he was nowhere near done. Her stifled moans became increasingly hard to hide but she did not want to give him the satisfaction of hearing her.
“You’re so damn fine. So beautiful. Hmm. You’re not goin anywhere this time.” He released her arms and placed her hands against the stone wall. Gripping her waist and slightly lifting her, he thrusted her body onto his over and over again.
“Oh my…” Marissa squeezed his cock, seconds away from the best orgasm she’d had in years when he pulled away from her abruptly. He turned her around, pulled her wet hair away from her face and kissed her, hard. Gripping her neck with one hand and squeezing her ass with the other, he flatly stated, “I don’t want you to cum yet.”
Her eyes opened and she grabbed his arm, feeling his hard muscles as he lightly held her neck. “You couldn’t make me cum if you tried.”
He smiled, that grin again, and lifted her in his arms. Her ankles straddled each of his shoulders as her heart skipped a beat. She was pissed he’d stopped her from having an orgasm but knew it was going to happen now.
He slid himself into her and had his way. Although she thought of herself as a bit chubby, he didn’t seem to have a problem lifting her, pulling her and pushing her onto his shaft over and over. There was something about this position that drove her wild and she knew he’d remembered. The angle he hit made her feel as if she were floating and brought her into the throws of ecstasy.
With her head leaned back, and her arms around his neck, she enjoyed every moment. “Mmmmm. Don’t cum yet. Don’t cum til I say you can. Don’t act like this not mine.” Pushing her head towards him, he stared into her eyes and pounded her until he felt as if she would explode. He slowed down, stood her up and looked down to find his cock was coated in her juices.
Her knees weakened, and she thought it would be a fine time to taste him. Her mouth wrapped around him in rhythm with his thrusts.
“Oh shit….” Her mouth was hot and her tongue swirled over the tip of him. Watching his long shaft go in and out of her mouth as she nearly swallowed him whole caused him to feel lightheaded with lust. She gently massaged his balls with her hand, stared at him through the water dripping from her hair and waited for him to ejaculate down her throat. She wanted it all.
“No.” He grabbed her hair and pulled her head back, leaning down for a kiss. He’d nearly lost control, something he hadn’t done in a long time. Lifting her, he turned the shower off and guided her to the bedroom. Their cold, wet bodies soaked the upstairs carpet as they made their way down a long hall.
They entered a pitch black room as Travis guided her to the bed. “Let me taste you.”
“I can’t cum again.” It was true. She hadn’t been able to do it twice in one night with her hubby. She blamed it on stress and exhaustion. Truthfully, a part of her knew it was simply dissatisfaction.
“Hm, let me see.” His face plummeted in-between her legs. His tongue caressed her clit, her toes curled and her head sank deep into the bed. She fought the urge to push his head, and instead wrapped her legs around his back. Her hands pulled his sheets. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as he fulfilled her every need.
Her moans were louder now. His tongue moved faster. His fingers curled upward and stroked her ferociously. “Travis…. Travis…baby….” Her next orgasm was bigger than the first. Her body shook as she snatched the sheets from the mattress. She tried to push back from him, find a moment of relief but he gripped her thighs; she wasn’t going anywhere. His tongue replaced his fingers and he tried to lick every drop from her. He glanced up at her, seeing her body rise and fall as she tried to catch her breath.
“Come here.” He gripped her thighs and dragged her to the end of the bed. In one swift movement, he’d entered her slower than before, relishing every moment.
“I missed you. I need you. You’re mine now.” Travis hoarsely declared ownership of something she knew was made for him. Still, Marissa wanted to object but couldn’t.
“Say it. Lemme hear you say you’re mine.” He thrust into her, his anticipation building up.
“I can’t hear you.” He grinned and leaned forward, her legs propped on his shoulders. Marissa shouldn’t have been surprised he remembered her favorite position, but she was. Her scream sent shivers down his body and everything in him tensed.
“Yes! I’m yours! I’M YOURS!” Her toes curled, she gripped her breasts and shut her eyes as they begin to fill. “Please! Please…It feels too good…I can’t take it…”
“Get used to it. It’s yours.” He wouldn’t stop. Marissa thought he would, but he didn’t. Her moans couldn’t be halted and neither could his. She couldn’t think any more. She couldn’t form words any more. She succumbed to him in every way.
He had no plans in stopping. He could listen to the sound of her voice all night. But her admission to being his sent him over the edge. She never knew what that did to him, but tonight she would find out.
She left him and he’d longed for her ever since. Years went by and no one was ever able to replace her. He tried, many times, to find a woman to satisfy him as much as she did. No one came close. Over time, he’d confirmed what he’d known the first night they were intimate, she was irreplaceable.
He felt tension building again but this time he wouldn’t stop. He didn’t want to and he had an instinct to finish inside of her. He held back as long as he could before releasing inside of her. Every night he touched himself thinking about her, every woman he dismissed after her, every fantasy he’d created of her and every ounce of frustration that built up over the years poured out of him.
Her legs dropped under him as he slid in and out of her continuously. Her moans made him continue his stroke, even after he’d emptied himself into her. His cream and hers soaked through the thick sheets, leaving a dampness as evidence of their passion.
Marissa was sure he came and wasn’t surprised that he kept going. In typical Travis-fashion, his persistence was unmatched. “Travis. Did you finish inside of me?” Marissa placed her hands on his shoulders and gently nudged him away. He looked her in the eyes and gently pulled out of her. Still stiff, his manhood rested between her stomach and his.
He smoothed her hair and replied, “You’re mine.” Instantly, his lips brushed against her neck and Marissa felt a sharp pain. Before she could understand what was happening, agony began to wreck her body like she’d never experienced before.
Her scream echoed through the home, even louder than before as her legs kicked purposelessly. She couldn’t understand what was happening to her as his weight held her down. Ravenous sounds escaped Travis and were replaced by pleasured moans.
Her pulse slowed as she struggled to understand what was happening. Her vision got darker and her body grew cold. Her racing thoughts decreased as her panic subsided into acceptance; she was dying.
Finally, the pain stopped but she couldn’t move. It was as if she was having a night terror, something she hadn’t experienced since her anxiety was at its peak years ago. As her vision grew dimmer and dimmer, Travis released her, his lips mere centimeters away from hers. Her lids grew heavier yet were open enough to see blood trickling down the corner’s of his mouth and his eyes glowing red. The last thing Marissa remembered hearing were the words, “You are eternally mine.”
